CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill chancellor told a crowd Thursday to remember slain student body president Eve Carson by her dedication to serving her community.Chancellor Holden Thorp spoke to some 1,000 people meeting at the Pit, a popular campus meeting place, to pay tribute to Carson, 22. The Athens, Ga., native was found shot to death a year ago Thursday. Snow from a rare March winter storm had cleared in time for the outdoor ceremony.
