INDIANAPOLIS -- Titans coach Jeff Fisher said he and Vince Young have discussed the parameters of the 2006 first-round draft pick reclaiming the team's starting quarterback job.
Fisher reiterated that he wants Kerry Collins to return and to claim the starting job, but opened the door to Young returning the the role he occupied before his benching after Week 1 last year.

"I visited with Vince last week and we had a good conversation," Fisher said. "He's anxious to come back and wanted to know what he has to do to win the starting job back.
"He's willing to do whatever it takes."
Collins, 36, is due to become a free agent next Friday. He hasn't committed to playing another season, but said if he plays he wants to be the starter again. Collins also acknowledged he would consider playing for a team other than the Titans as the starter.

Fisher said the Titans and Collins are not in position to sign a new contract yet.
Young started last season as the Titans starter and sprained his MCL in the opener. Collins switched to Collins at quarterback, a move he said would not change when Young's injury healed
