Michigan Lottery

The Michigan Lottery is launching a new raffle game that gives players the chance to buy a $10 ticket and win up to $700,000.The game will feature 19,820 cash prizes, including two top prizes of $700,000; 18 prizes of $70,000 each; 1,800 tickets worth $1,700; and 18,000 tickets good for $70. Lottery spokeswoman Andi Brancato tells The Detroit News the new game offers cash-strapped players a more cost-effective chance to claim a big jackpot. Lucky 7s tickets go on sale Monday. A tentative drawing is scheduled for May 4.
The State of Michigan Lottery said that the group would stand a better chance to qualify for raffle and charity game activities under the Local Civic Organization Qualification.The members want to hold one fund-raiser raffle this year during a summer golf outing.The Bulls were incorporated in September 2007.At some point, the group would like to provide a college scholarship for those players who participate over time.
